Who I am
My name is Alessandra, but call me Ale! I'm a 25 years old gal from Rome, Italy, passionate about anything artsy.
Although I never had an artistic education — I attended classical studies in high school, graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at university, and am currently working in hospitality — I've spent most of my life doodling and sketching and drawing, be it on the sides of my school notebooks, proper sketchbooks, or my desktop PC.
I've always enjoyed drawing stuff from the medias I consume — be it only characters or full scenes from tv shows, movies or books — but my ultimate goal is to make an original comic someday.
The name "skywaleker" dates back to my Tumblr days, when I tried to combine my lifelong nickname with one of my favorite sagas. And even though my art doesn't focus around the Lucasfilm franchise, the lightness and airiness of this alias stuck with me.
